Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, effective from 1st January 2005, aim to enhance transparency and accessibility in local government operations. These laws give the public the right to request information from local authorities and receive a response.

Requests can be refused based on specific conditions outlined in the legislation, which can be challenged through a review process.

Our Publication Scheme details the information we routinely publish. We encourage parishioners to check our website before submitting a request, as available information only requires directing to the published data.
