Solve (Save our Loddon Valley Environment) has been set up in parallel with Country Watch to deal with the campaigning side of the Local Development Framework.  Log on to their website to get more information about the campaign and to link up with the online petition.

Proposed Trim Trail

The Parish Council have applied for a grant to fund a new trim trail to be installed on the middle green at Sherfield-on-Loddon.  The installation will consist of 16 stations designed to develop co-ordination, balance and strength as well as being fun to use. Each station will have information on how to use it with 3 levels, easy, medium and hard so will be suitable for all ages and abilities.  Please click here to see a plan of the proposed trim trail and do send your comments to the Parish Clerk or click here to complete a survey on the proposed trim trail.

James Christmas Educational Foundation

In spite of the passing of time and the changing economic situation the foundation still has a small income, which is distributed at the discretion of the Trustees, and any child living in the Parish of Sherfield-on-Loddon, who has a particular educational need, may make application, in writing, for consideration by the Trustees, to the Honorary Treasurer.

Applications will also be considered from any organisation catering for the educational and leisure welfare of village children.
